    Bank of America, the official bank sponsor of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team, today launched America’s Cheer™, a new grassroots campaign that provides an opportunity for all Americans to cheer on the nation’s finest athletes as they prepare to compete at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Whether it’s an energetic video or audio recording, heartfelt letter or inspiring photo, America’s Cheer™ invites the entire country to express their support for Team USA™ through the act of cheering. 

     

    Cheers can also be recorded by visiting the America’s Cheer™ mobile tour which debuted today in New York City. From there, America’s Cheer™ will visit 19 cities and 26 events, and travel 27,000 miles before its final stop in Detroit, Mich., on Aug. 24, 2008, a date that coincides with the Closing Ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games.

     

    The launch of America’s Cheer™ also coincides with the introduction of U.S. Olympic Team Banking, the nation’s first bundled set of U.S. Olympic Team-themed banking products that directly support Team USA™. U.S. Olympic Team Banking includes Check Cards, checks and credit cards that enable customers to support America’s Olympic athletes and hopefuls with every purchase, while earning special rewards.

    Craftsmen Industries printed The Weather Channel “Guaranteed White Christmas” contest graphics for a 20-ft box truck. The Weather Channel designed the artwork internally and teamed with Arch Marketing, a St. Louis-based agency, to facilitate the project. Craftsmen Industries printed and applied to the box truck sides, rear, doors and front. 

    The “Guaranteed White Christmas” Weather Channel contest ran from Nov. 16-Dec. 6, where contestants submitted a short video describing why they deserve the ultimate gift of snow on Christmas Day.

    The truck was featured on The Weather Channel on Christmas morning delivering the gift of snow to one lucky winner in the Florida Keys!

    Craftsmen was approached by Tim McAmis Race Cars to assist with the design and build of a custom merchandise kiosk for the Qatar Racing Club of the ADRL (Arabian Drag Racing League).

    - Challenges included creating a vertical unique design that would function as an efficient retail kiosk, and withstand the elements of the dessert environment. 
    - Using aluminum truss and panels for the frame and pigmented Sumbrella brand acrylic fiber thermoplastic fabric for the canopy the kiosk is made to handle the rigors of the heat and wind of the dessert. 
    - Counter top faces and side panels are covered with 3M IJ 180 with 8519 laminate
    - The counter tops are covered with routed ABS plastic for a consumer friendly sales transaction. 
    - A banner frame system was mounted to the face of the canopy to identify the kiosk as an official merchandise center. 
    - The framing system also allows flexibility to identify & use the kiosk for other events. 
    - Custom shipping crates were needed to ship the kiosk on a cargo plane overseas to make the final three races of the season.

    Craftsmen Industries built this 28-ft Straight Truck as a Verizon Mobile Showroom to tour in summer 2009. The truck was customized with a 21-ft x 8-ft opening, which expands into a stage. This stage lends itself to entry and exit easily and efficiently throughout the Verizon truck.   Gruskin Architecture provided the design and conceptual formation to Craftsmen for this project.

    The Verizon VZW Showroom traveled from location to location showcasing Verizon wireless products new and existing within the market. This truck offers an inviting environment for visitors to ask questions about the service and products, understand the technology and speak to a brand ambassador onsite.

    Precision Planting, headquartered in Tremont, IL, is the headquarters for new ideas and technology to better seed spacing, better depth control and better root systems. This family business includes proprietary meter components, including the MeterMax meter calibration system, 20/20 SeedSense and 20/20 AirForce.

    Craftsmen custom-built a 53-ft double expandable trailer for Precision Planting, equipped with a 28-ft x 4-ft custom projection screen.

    Precision Planting is debuting the classroom trainer at the 2010 Precision Planting Winter Conference beginning January 5th. The trailer is equipped with a projector that will play a video informing the farmers about the benefits and capabilities of Precision Planting technology.

    Custom Creations approached Craftsmen Industries for custom fabrication and print for S C Johnson’s holiday party. Hey Jude Creative provided the holiday-themed artwork.

    Here are the project specifics:

    - Pole Wraps: printed on smooth banner vinyl with a hook and loop closure on the back
    - 13.5′ high x 36” diameter
    - Wrapped 12 poles
    - Reindeer are router-cut using 1” Gator Foam, approx. 7-ft wide

    The corporate setting was complete with the  holiday graphics and fabrication!

    Craftsmen recently completed the printing for Teddy’s Place Childcare Bus graphics  in Sun Prairie, WI.  The project was aimed to coordinate the bus graphics with their billboard advertising.  The creative agency, Hey Jude Creative, designed the graphics and provided the artwork to Craftsmen. 

    Craftsmen’s print team used 3M’s IJ180-CV3 with 8519 overlaminte for the graphics and 3M’s IJ8171 for the window perforated graphic material.
