Craftsmen Industries recently built a stage area, backdrop and custom cooking stations for the competitors in the Aetna Healthy Food Fight. The first of 11 regional events will be held September 4th in Rockaway, NJ, to determine who advances to the finale. The finale judge is Food Network’s Bobby Flay! The competition is sponsored by Aetna, a leading provider of health care benefits. When CARCHEX, the Maryland based extended auto warranty service provider, was looking to extend its successful Internet-based business to incorporate a retail presence for the company, one thing was certain. They were looking for a way to stand out and grab traffic with a unique, engaging mall experience. That’s when they contacted Brandstand. As the official manufacturer of the Brandstand, Craftsmen Industries was eager to build the unit to suit their objectives. 
“We were looking for a an exciting way to activate our new endorsement deal with Dale Earnhardt Jr.,” said company CEO Jason Goldsmith. “While any mall kiosk would have given us a simple cookie-cutter presence, our Brandstand is unique and allows us to differentiate from other vendors in the retail environment.”
Using Brandstand’s powerful multimedia system, CARCHEX is able to create and reinforce brand awareness with audio and video messaging. In addition, the Brandstand is equipped with data collection kiosks which walk prospects through the auto warranty selection and purchase process.
“With Brandstand, we can now have a retail footprint that allows us to show our brand, showcase our services, and execute a sale exactly the way we want — all while respecting the mall’s appearance guidelines,” Goldsmith added.
“Brandstand’s folks made the process very easy,” said CARCHEX Vice President of Product Development Joe Campanella. “The ability for our staff to setup and shut down quickly — in just a matter of minutes — is a huge advantage.”
In addition to its new retail presence at shopping malls, CARCHEX plans to use Brandstand units as part of its mobile marketing plans at events throughout the country.
Barwa ADRL race team decided to change the graphics on a new Camaro, representing Barwa. These graphics needed to match a previous car, which was painted. The challenge was not only to match the paint with ink, but to pull it off in time for the weekend race. 
By combining digital print on 3M 180Cv3 with 8518 laminate and metallic vinyl, Craftsmen Industries was able to match the paint. The graphics were designed, printed and installed in only three days.
Craftsmen Industries printed and applied graphics at St. Louis Cardinals’ Busch Stadium last week, in the Champions Concourse. The Cardinals logo was applied directly to the concrete wall, using 3M’s concrete graphic material. The concourse also received other graphic applications.

Vivid Marketing kicked off the summer with a sampling display for
their client, Dole’s, two new fruit juices: Dole Sensation Watermelon and Dole Sensation Lemon-Lime. On May 29th (National Sampling Day), ten sampling cities were set up across the US- from Los Angeles to New York City, with as many as ten locations within each area.
Craftsmen Industries teamed with Vivid to custom-fabricate 100 sampling kiosks, complete with header banners and full graphics.
The tour distributed over 500,000 samples over the holiday weekend!
Craftsmen Industries recently printed and applied graphics to Sieveking’s service truck, after their tanker received the same graphics earlier this year. The graphics were designed by Craftsmen’s in-house designer and applied by certified installers.

Craftsmen Industries revamped the Lane Furniture trailer for another year of touring the
Lane’s Home Entertainment Tour throughout 2010. The event agency, Vivid Marketing is located in Smyrna, GA and teamed with Craftsmen to provide the design and execution of the tour.
